Do you know what stock 'S' spring rates are (125-135F/225R)? Depending on machine loaded weight I'd go bit stiffer, front & back. Maybe 20-25%. Mine are 120-220 progressive (front) and 257 (rear),...

The YZ 125 shock is longer so it must mount lower on the A-arm, has 1/2" less stroke, but it has a heavier spring rate (257 ppi vs the Polaris' 170). That plus the shock dampening gives me better...

I'm very satisfied. Got my LT450's from James and the Yamaha units on eBay. Takes some time to tune them in. Yeah, I moved the overflow.

I use the Suzuki shocks/springs up front and YZ 125 shocks/springs on the rear. Good inexpensive upgrade. I'll be glad help anyone looking to do the same.
