using synthetic oil was not the problem. if they gave you the wrong type of oil it could have caused premature failure of your wet clutch.

give james a call. he has all the parts necessary at a fair price and will help you out if you have any questions.

if it wasnt yamalube that was the problem...those aftermarket belts will waste a wet clutch fast cause there to short and wont go down to the lowest gear in the sheaves

Jd283 I to started after my wet clutch burnt out with the wrong synthetic oil. I joined another forum through which I found the HR Rhino and started my relationship with a good bunch of people with a common interest and the it became HOTRODRORUMS welcoming all brands it really felt like home. I have learned from this sight and it has saved me from making mistakes and spent my money on the right stuff. I also met some great people and rode with many they are supportive and a lot of fun to, welcome jd283 hope you get what you need from here and share you tips or photos with us here.

Thanks for the help guys i can already see i should have done this sooner.
Yotehunter...... they recomended Slcolene 20w50 but not sure the moron who gave me my last quarts give me the right stuff. He was young and green. James..... belt was put on after problem I was running stock belt changed it no help, pulled cover off, engine revs but belt not moving unless you hammer it then about 50 yards its done till cools, what is HW? Mrs. Hot rod...... yea a buddy had a 454 that burned oil from fresh rebuild till we found out he was runnning full synthetic, I thought about that but I was going on what my local shop recomended instead of gut if I did it over first 50 hrs for sure would have been regular atv oil. Bert .....no I do not think i will make a decision without the input from this sight. Timmi..... thanks for fixing my pics They look much better still not sure why the transfered from my phone that way looked fine when i uploaded.

What ever happens with your wet clutch it would be a good time to slug it, this will engage stronger and make the friction shoes last longer.
