My new AR-15

Not as nice as some of your AR's but this is my first. Hopefully my lower will hold up, I'm trying an ATI Omni Hybrid lower with an Anderson upper. 223/5.56
Just finished it today and put on a cheap rectical sight on it until I can afford something better.
Hopefully going out tomorrow to do some shooting.

I just bought a complete Anderson upper 1:8 twist, still doing some learning but this should be good for plinking. I just target shoot so I don't really need anything fancy. I stopped hunting years ago when I almost shot my dad in the back of the head with a shotgun lol

Why there's an "lol" after that sentence beats me but I laughed too... Never had any experience with hybrid lowers but if you have problem with it you find bushmaster lowers pretty cheap...if you got any questions holler at me

Thanks man! Yeah I laugh about it now but when it happened he damn near beat me to death with the gun. we were Elk hunting and decided to go out and do a little rabbit hunting, I was using an old 410 had one in the chamber with the safety on and it went off while I was walking behind him he turned around and said what the fuck??? I about shit my pants, I told him that I didn't touch anything and that it had fired on its own. He said bullshit!! It will not fire without you pulling the trigger, he yanked it out of my hand and I was thinking he was going to beat me with it lol he loads another shell and makes sure the safety is on then with the slightest twist on the grip it fired. That was the first time I seen my old man go ape shit on a gun as he commenced to smash it to pieces on a rock. Needless to say I have not been hunting since that day.
