I'm in between the commander and the wolverine
I wanna trade in my 08 rhino. But I'm just torn. Between the wolverine Yamaha. And the commander. So far it looks like the cabin heat is excessive around the "dog house" console and the belt runs at extreme temps and the visco lock kind of sucks. Compared to the wolverine has sure hub lock diff
Better stock suspension
And I haven heard any complaints about cabin excessive cabin heat
But my local dealer is "can am "and the and the closest Yamaha dealer is 80 miles a way. Any opinion/votes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all

Ridin' and Guidin'
Drive both then decide. Both are good machines.
I don't like anything with the engine in the cabin.
Heat, noise, takes up room.
The Wolverine needs about 15 more hp but it does ok.

Yea Iv just heard nothing but good about the wolverine. But my Yamaha dealer is 80 miles from me. Vs the can am dealer is here in town. But Iv heard about the heat soak in tha cab and the console gets extremely hot. And the clutching is no were is good as Yamaha cvt and wet clutch. I really just want a bike that is durable as my rhino and don't have to dump money to make comfortable. It's hot here in AZ. So I don't want to be fighting that problem.

Make the trip. You won't be sorry. I drove about the same and there's a popo dealer here in town. Product was my priority not distance to dealer.

I not worried about the drive of 80 miles to get the best machine. But my thoughts were if I did need to get some warranty work done. "Hopefully not". It would be a pain in the butt

I've had a commander and have a wolverine. I'd take the wolverine anytime over the commander.

If you search some of the older topics on here there's some good info about choosing between can am and Yamaha, I think it was casparis who was asking the same thing not too long ago. He went with the wolverine I believe.

Well after countless hours of utube and forums. The results heavily lean on the wolverine. So I'll head to Tucson Tuesday. And hopefully I'll come home with a steel blue one. My rhino has been great and I would be so disappointed to give that kind of durability up. And I'm sure James will have the mods to soup her up a bit.

yea that was me axo. asked alot of questions here. read alot on the commander forums and talkd to acefire from commander forums. after alot of thought i went with the wolvy. in the end the fact that i have friends like james and timmi (and everyone else here) to help if i have questions or problems weighed heavily on my decision.
i dont regret my decision one bit. i love the wolvy and ride with rzrs and commanders all the time. i have no trouble at all keeping up with them!!
