So did you just cut out the 4" from the back curve so that it took the forward pitch out of the roof? It appears that the roof is flat now. Did you have to make any modification to the front side of the cage or did it just drop down and back to meet what remained?

Just the 4" from back curve. Loosen front bolts and drop it down. I put 1.750 dia. Sleeves in cage to sleeve together.
