    Viking Power upgrades

So, I am new to this forum as well as a new Viking Owner. I just purchased a 2016 Viking and have put 28x10x12 mud lite XLs in the front and 28x12x12 in the back. The only other mod I have is a slip on HMF Swamp Series exhaust. Ever since putting the tires on my power and acceleration have gone to squat. Every time I look up Viking performance mods I see the JBS clutch kit. I am thinking about getting the Hot Rod extreme Clutch Kit but want to know if it will do the trick before spending the money. I really need my low and mid range power back. Will this do the trick??

Welcome to the forum! The less restrictive than stock exhaust leaned out the fuel mixture to your engine so you actually lost some power. You need a correctly mapped fuel programmer to correct that. James can help you with it. The JBS sheave is the first performance mod you should do. It is much more efficient than the stock clutching. It can be set up to your driving style and tire size.

A friend installed 28's on his Viking and then later installed the JBS clutch kit. He said it make a very noticeable improvement in the power and low range.

Well, I got my Hot Rod Extreme Sheave kit but it didn't have any OEM Sliders with it? I also ordered a Dynatek box but that didn't come either. I just got one shipping order so hopefully it's on its way seperately.
