    A-Arm Guards

Has anyone fab'd up their own? I destroyed a rear outer CV Boot yesterday and I cant justify paying the crazy prices that some of the aftermarket guys charge. I have access to a steel shop and I can cut/bend my own here at work. I just need measurements so I can pass them on to the steel guys. Help?

I re-read that.....and I DEFINITELY worded that like an ass, I apologize. I cant afford to pay $179 for a pair right now as Im saving for the best clutch kit IN THE WORLD at the moment . I have seen them range from $250 for all 4 (plastic), to $380 in aluminum. I have guys in our shop here that can make them on the side for me for lunch and a few bucks. I'd buy them off you in a heartbeat if I had the cash my friend.

They have there good points and bad points, bad point is they collect mud and snow/Ice, good point is it may save a boot from a stick. I just bought the factory plastic ones last week for the front outer, not sure if I'm gonna do anything with the back. If you can get something made on the cheap go for it, just make sure to add something me big relief holes in the bottom to let the mud out.
