Family Adventure Tours - FATCO just wrapped up a Four Day Hurricane Cloverleaf Tour with an awesome group of folks! We shot over to “Edge of the World Brewery” for lunch on day 1 on some very seldom used and technical trails. Day two we ran up Toquerville Falls and the top of Black Ridge. Day three found us messing around in Sand Hollow for the day followed by a few hours of Big Shots Golf and dinner. Our last day we knocked out a FATCO signature trail that we do not take many folks on, it’s that good!!! This was FATCO’s first trip with 100% James Davis’ JBS clutches in both of our guide cars. Any Kawi owners out there reading this take notice!! FATCO arguably puts many more miles on our guide cars in one season than most folks do in the lifetime of their rigs. Very early on we experienced the dreaded Kawi clutch weight issues and the “shifting feeling” that plagues these cars. Through the process of elimination we found JBS Performance after trying every solution and weight combination on the market, it’s been an expensive and educational journey but here we are!!! What I can tell you is this, learn from our mistakes!!! Save yourself a bunch of time, effort and money and get James’ JBS Performance weight kits, his secondary clutch spring and remove your primary springs!!! Listen to James’ recommendations for additional weight in you primary clutch (based on tire size and riding conditions) and just drive your cars. The trail we completed on the fourth day is one of the tightest and most technical trails we know and our Kawi’s performed flawlessly. The clutching was beyond perfect for this tour. From 60MPH sections to super slow technical stuff like Sand Hollow and the trail on the fourth day, the cars performed beyond expectations!!!
