My name is mjn, and I'm an alcoholic.

Wait a minute... wrong forum.

Sportbiker for 37 years, an avid ATV'er since '02. Put just short of 9K on my old Rancher so far, and 2300 on the Brute Force in 2 yrs..

I work at a car store. We took in a (really wimpy) Gator a couple weeks back. Since I'm the guy with the trailer, I went and picked it up.

Had to check it out once I got it home.

Wife came home.

Wife sat in Gator.

Wife no longer likes to ride on the back of the Brute. I guess I'm buyin a SxS. :-)

Looked at all the brands, and it looks like the Yamaha is gonna win out. Getting close to pulling the trigger on a Viking SE.

Now I'm learnin... Howdy!

LOL! and I'd have no choice but to accept it! :-)

6.0 F250 huh? How do ya like it? I just sold my '03. Everyone says stay away from the 6.0, but mine was a fantastic truck.

Oh... and why am I here?

Cause I changed the clutch springs in my Brute with the intention of improving it's responsiveness on the trail..

I'm not sure I'd do it again..

But I think I'd like to go with a bit bigger tire on the Viking when I get it.. and I want to make sure I do it right.

If it weren't for the body going bad it would be in great shape.

Howdy from the Cowboy State. JBS Hot Rod has a sheave and weights that'll spin big tires on a Viking. Check out 'The Green Machine' build.

so where do you normally ride at?

We have 9 acres here in the Tri-Cities, and 20 acres up in Sandpoint, Idaho. Most of the use will be here, with some up in North Idaho.
I also try to make it to Elk City, Idaho as often as I can.. there are endless trails up there. Some are too narrow for the Viking, but many are wide enough. I figure I'll just throw the Husky in the bed and widen as needed. :-)

Nice, well out of sandpoint there is tons of riding too, I'm around davenport. I do most of my riding on farm, but do venture out to priest lake, sandpoint, lookout, priest river and chewelah on occasion. I like going to the places where I snowmobile to see the stupid chit I'm climbing and going over. lol
