Anyone see a problem with unbolting the sway bars for riding a lot of off camber trails? Idon't ride much flat areas.

My wolvy is tippy enough with the bar attached, I can't imagine without it. Should be ok for low speed riding.

I had mine off for over a year. Really frees up the suspension but does make it very tipsy in high speed turns. Then I rolled it and hooked it back up.

I need a left front flare, isn't that the one you damaged also?

I think I'll try it with them disconnected for a little while. I don't see taking a 4 seater on any high speed turns. I think disconnected will help a little bit on the trails to maybe keep the tires in contact with the dirt.

Yes it is. You can buy single flares.

I think it interesting that Yamaha added rear wheel spacers and removed sway bar on Rhinos reportedly due to legal reaction to rollovers. Don't know if it was slow or high speed rollovers? But if Yamaha took them off then why not try it on slow trails? I took my Rhino bar off and it handled better on the trails. But it was sketchy on higher speed road turns lol.

I didn't have one on my rhino ; but , I had 525lb springs on the rear , so there was little to no sway . In an off camber situation , with them off / unhooked it will really let the body roll .

My Rhino didn't have them either. My Wildcat and Ranger both had rear only. The X4 has both front and rear.

you gotta remember the rhino bs lawsuits, Yamaha paid a lot of money to close those out. they are still very cautious with their sxs line. the X4 is made for a family or four friends to do recreational activities. Yamaha gave it more power to haul and pull, but added a lot of features to control speed and make it stable.

I haven't really noticed any difference with them connected or not so I hooked them back up for now. Hope to get some real trail riding in next weekend and may play with them connected and unconnected again.

i noticed a vast difference. depending on riding style whether you have it hooked up or disconnected. high-speed keep it connected. crawling its better disconnected. this is not fact just my personal experience.

That is the way mine is/was. Probably why I didn't notice a difference connected or not.

took it off my rhino and took it off my teryx4. I don't ride fast and most of my riding is in the hills. the extra susp travel was welcome.

I think some good springs and about 2 more inches on each side on the rear wheels would make a pretty stable ride with the sway bars disconnected.

Had a pretty good ride with my family two weeks ago in the Ozarks. I ride pretty slow as the some of the trails are technical. Rode with the sway bars disconnected. Only thing sketchy were a few wash outs that I couldn't straddle. The X4 is top heavy and I thought a time or two it might go over but it didn't. Of course I don't notice it feeling as top heavy when it is just me. I would really like a mid to long travel suspension. Overall it was a great time and the ride is very comfortable and does soak up the big rocks and drop offs a lot better than I thought it would with short suspension travel. Will seriously look at upgraded springs in the future.

I fixed my sway bar and layed it in the curves at 40 on the trail and no issues

I disconnected the front away bar and haven't really noticed it being anymore trippy. I still need to check out the rear seat bar and side of it is "locked up" but I am considering removing it or at least disconnecting it. I am about 3" wider now so that should help too.

The front stabilizer bar don't do much anyway so I left it connected. With JBS springs the rear is disconnected but it's not tippy at all.

I've be running both of mine disconnect for some time now and really don't notice much lean. However, I'm running JBS springs too. It does feel more stable on the trails this way. I don't ride much on gravel or pavement.

I may try it without the front too

Let us know how it goes. In your videos your riding pavement so you may see more of difference than I do.
