McGivered some straps to stabilize axle and played on!!!
The clutch from JBS has worked flawless and we are having a great time here!!!!

Sheave are the conical faces that comprise a pulley. Nothing to do with a "clutch" which usually have flat friction faces and make your stick shift go. Face it, pulley engagement "clutches" are a cheap way to build a self propelled lawnmower.Quote:

I believe that the confusion in terms comes from early snowmobiles where the CVT belt actually went slack for "neutral" and the sheaves engaged the belt as the engine revved up. I expect that those are no longer built that way, as it is quite hard on the belt due to slippage. Black smoke comes off of a slipping belt as it slips, making for a short life.
