What in the hell are you doing to lose your hood? I charge water fast and mud ride all the time and never have lost a hood? Now that I say this I'll lose it!
If you pay great attention when you plow full speed into deep water, you will notice that the water that gushes up forces the hood to bend in the middle from pressure which eventually flexes it enough that the front locator lugs will pop out. Once they pop out it is only 1-3 more good gushes to snap the latches off.
I can actually beat the hood snapping off.
Have you noticed when charging water fast that the water comes gushing out of where the front bonnet plastics and the top of the dash meet? I recently had my whole bottom dash fall out 2" on the driver side when I snapped 5 plastic push rivets off (2 didn't snap they pulled thru the hood plastic in front of the steering wheel) It even disconnected the lights electrical connector at the rear of the switch behind the dash. I have now replaced all the dash push rivets with M8 flanged nuts and bolts.
In short Dupupp go faster and harder mate, I am the submarine captain of the Viking Clan. lol
My friends Rhino hood flexes up about 5-6" in the middle when he charges water too, them side rubber straps take a flexing.
Cheers

You should think about building a cuber. I get more for them and you don't have to pick em up afterwards.

Don't think I'd want to be behind that on a set of ski's, maybe a tube if drunk enough.

Thanks man! It was a lot better when oil was $100 bbl lol but I love it and am fortunate enough to be working through the slow times!! Hopefully it will find some middle ground around $60 bbl, and everyone will be happy. If things do turn around, there will be a ton of hiring going on!! Not a hard field to get into when times are good, and it will come back, always does!

I always see that place along 20, how's the riding there?
lots of whoops, highbanked sandy turns, dry lakebed to fly across. 10 bucks per rider cant beat that, my wife really likes that place cause its not too big for her and she can ride off on her own. i usually take my ktm and ride that most of the time out there but i have a blast on my rhino every time i go also
im not a mud rider but ill bet after a good rain that dry lakebed would be all kinds of fun

Turned the girls loose at mud jam for a bit while i cooked a couple times. they got most of the footage since their phones were waterproof. hope i can figure how to post more but here is some highline action.
