Snorider, tell me more!
I have an 06 660 rhino that I have more money in than I could ever get even half of it back, so I'll probably keep it for ever.
Buy I just bought a 16 grizzly and holy cow...
I didn't want to cut the buckets, simply because I keep my rhino clean and I didn't want a dirt trap.
Instead, I modified the light itself to mimic the 3 point attachment that the factory lights...
With quite a few people upgrading machines, I'm hoping there's a mid travel suspension laying around that's no longer wanted.
If anyone knows or hears of one, please let me know.
I carry a large...

So these fox shocks will go on a rhino, just like the factory tyrex shocks do?

Yes. It finally took a shit and revealed itself. The splined collar on the back of the drives haft was toast, along with the boss. I ordered both of those from james, 2 new seals for the rear diff,...
I made a flatbed with a dog box for running hounds. Did a windshield and overhead stereo with 4 6.5 and an amp. The stereo is all ran via a bluetooth dingle that gets signal from my cell phone....
This noise wasn't there when I put the machine back together. It showed up about 300 miles later.
Yes. A spring and a rubber disk. There is probably a half inch of play forward/backward.
I did. It's not in the best of shape but it's not jumping splines or anything.
Everything behind the motor seems to be ok. I have a little play in the drive shaft, front to back and I can rotate it a little. I did slug the wet clutch a few months ago. Anybody think if that nut...
Wingman the rotor stays covered with mud. and I detail it after every ride so no grease there. I'm going to finally have time tomorrow to see what's up.
Rear pinion nut I meant
I'll check that too. Thanks. I had the drive shaft out to replace the rear seal when I braced the rear diff. There was a spring in the coupler, but no dampner. The splines didn't look to be the best,...
Could be rear pinion. I recently fixed the rear diff mounts with Baxter kit. I'll give that a shot. I also think my rear brake may be hanging up so I'll check that also.
Don't think it's the one way bearing. It pops once until you throttle up and slow back down.
Engine braking is normal.
Always at the same rpm, probably 4 or 5 mph. When I let off the throttle, something pops, sounds like metal on metal. Forward only. Can not replicate on jack stands. Only under a load, which makes...
When I say backfeed, I should have said patched. Somewhere in my harness, the intent ed ground circuit is open....
I the hot tested good from the rectifier plug through the starter solenoid and fuse block. I tied in to the ground at the rectifier and soldered a good sized wire to it and ran that to a ground lug...
Forgot to mention, I was using a current sensing test light to jumper the ground from the batt. To the r/r. This test light will light up red when going + to - or green when going from - to +........
I do, in fact, have an aftermarket starter relay installed.
I'll give it a shot on friday. Thank you again.
