I want to hook up a trickle charger to the battery in my Rhino. I have heard it's a bad idea to charge the battery with a standard charger with it wired into the Rhino because you can blow the...
I put my 26's on last night.... hope to run it down the road in a day or two
Maybe I said that wrong... The clutch engagement is immediate. It took a few RPMs to make the belt rise in the secondary... Like the spring was holding it longer.
I did re-use my belt... It still had some life left, according to your video. I also plan on using the 26's very soon.. just wanted to get it out and run it down the road. I don't think I over...
Engine is entirely stock... Air filter could probably use a cleaning. Windshield, roof, light bar and hood rack...
I got to go for a spin after installing the wet slug kit, extreme sheave kit (purple spring and 19gr weights)...
Pulls like a train in low and reverse.. top speed in low is 30 or so... Never tried...
Okay, one more question while I'm waiting on my pilot bearing... Should I get a spare bolt to separate the sheave for belt installation or can I use one of the ones off the cage without damaging it??...
We're good... I probably could have gotten it almost buttoned up last night if I had know that the collar wasn't part of the pilot bearing... but now I know.. lol
Yes, I thought that the inner race had separated from the pilot bearing.. hence the photos..lol I did not know that the collar was supposed to stay on the crankshaft. I was attempting to remove it...
Sorry if I sound a little upset.. I am.. I do a lot of research before I spend the kind of money I spent on these parts.. A LOT of research.. a year now... $500 might not be a lot of money to some...
Well, thanks.. I sent you pictures in a text yesterday.. and asked if the center of the bearing was supposed to come out... looked like the bearing had separated, to me.. you said "stays in the drum"...
I got the pilot bearing out of the drum. With a blind bearing puller I had. What's the best way to get that inner race off the crankshaft?
I pulled my wet clutch tonight. Installing a new one way bearing, wet slugging the clutch and a new machined sheave with a purple spring... How do I pull the pilot bearing since the inner race stayed...
The parts diagram online doesn't list one for my 2012...
Is it stuck to the clutches?
I don't think my 2012 has this... I had to use a ratchet strap tied around the shaft to snatch my clutch drum off. When. It all flew apart the one way bearing fell out in front of the drum and I...
is it too late... looking to upgrade. I do a bit of hauling with my rhino...

I've had my rhino since Oct '14... Been a member over at rhinoforums for a while now and been doing some research on sheaves and such...
Thought I had a belt slipping because I didn't have any...
