what about the sweet smell of some race gas running in them
the 4 stroke engines in bikes were created more for pollution laws and crap the manufacturers predicted were coming, not because they were better than 2 strokes.
If you search some of the older topics on here there's some good info about choosing between can am and Yamaha, I think it was casparis who was asking the same thing not too long ago. He went with...
I've had a commander and have a wolverine. I'd take the wolverine anytime over the commander.
I just read on the wolverine forum that defender cabs is working on a heater so I'm gonna wait and see what they come out with first.
Thanks, I'm gonna play around with it an see what I can come up with
Do you think something like this could be done on a wolverine? I just saw that firestorm can't make a heater for the wolverine because it is too cramped in the front.
Nice job, I want to get something for my wolverine too. It's getting cold out!
Nice ride! Good to see you stuck with Yamaha!
it's still a good forum, I just try to avoid those topics now, but yeah I did see how things were getting a little heated for you.
I love these fix it videos, thanks guys!
I think the wheelbase is about the same as a viking
a little off the topic but I have the jbs sheave in my wolverine and most of my riding is under 15 mph, I usually use low but how important is it in the yamahas. I had a commander and it was highly...
I like the full doors, I hope someone makes them sometime soon.
That's one nice looking wolverine!
About the only thing the commander has good going for it is its powerful. The xt I had rode like shit even with racer tech springs.
I like it too, I found out about it after I got a wolverine.
The power in the wolverine isn't too bad, yeah it could use more but it's still decent. It handles and rides really good and that makes up for a lot. I could run with a rzr in the rough trails, or...
The commander does woller around like you said, it isn't very well balanced I guess. I rolled mine doing something simple that my rhino would have done easily. Test a wolverine, you might like it.
Did the gold spring make any difference?
Haha, that's what kept me from buying a viking was the shocks. If it had the same shocks as the wolverine I woulda bought it instead.
When the japs start putting fox shocks on their mx bikes then I'll believe you that their better.
Damm...snow in August, no thanks. I guess you guys are used to that sorta thing though!
Never mind , I just saw you said you are all stock. Sorry.
Did you do anything to cause the clutch to wear? What size tires are you running?
