Tried to get 20 gram weights for the last few months. Apparently have been out of stock since summer. Would have loved to tested with 20's. My goal for my riding application was lower cruising...

FYI I'm not talking about top end. I'm talking about lowering my RPM's at cruise speed.

I agree and that's what I'm looking for is lower rpm's at cruise speed. I don't need all the top end. I really think 20 gram weights will lower my RPM's with no loss in performance. I believe I...

Yes I understand the weights won't matter on full shift out and top speed. However just cruise speed say 30 or 45mph it does matter. Heavier the weight the lower RPM's you have. NO disputing that....

well larger tires isn't happening. I'm already running way larger then stock with 27x10x14's. It feels like I'm in low gear when in high. So running 20 grams maybe the ticket?

Yeah in your case you should be fine. However with mine running 64mph @ 8600 RPM's is way too high. My only thought is running 20 gram weights and having it tuned on the dyno. I'd like to see more...

Yeah in my case I believe 20gram is the ticket. RPM's are too high.

James you need to send me some 20 gram weights so I can test both sheaves equally on the dyno. As I believe 20 gram weights I'd have a little better cruising speeds with lower RPM's rolling the dirt...
  9. JBS & Hunterworks sheave testing tuned by Dynojet.

Finally got around to installing the JBS extreme sheave Version 2 and tuned by Dynojet locally at headquarters. I will be testing both sheaves and reporting results from both. The YXZ and my X2 are...

Yeah grease less sheave and having to file the cam plate don’t think so. That’s a Mickey Mouse setup.

Thanks for the input. I thought maybe 18gram weights. Yeah have to talk to James and see what he advises. I for sure want low end and quicker engagement. Top end I'd still like to be able to hit...

    Here goes..
2019 X2 with 27x10x14's (38lbs each tire/wheel). Stock clutch and weights currently which pretty much sucks with the larger heavier tires. Looking at the Extreme sheave with what...
