Looks easier to run bigger tires than the JBS guards for sure
ours takes up very little room over factory..less than 3/16"...so thats not even 1 tire size different than stock so kawis fix you might be able to run 1 size bigger than mine but theirs looks like shit and dosnt have the strength mine does....not like 30s is gonna fit now with kawis fix

Dear Sarge,
I own one of the 2013 Kawasaki Teryx 750 4×4s that had the factory recall to prevent sticks from puncturing the floorboards. I was never happy with that thin piece of metal Kawasaki put there to stop sticks. Yesterday, I had a stick put a dent in the metal strip, and now I wonder if that fix is good enough. I value your opinion, Sarge, on this matter.

Private M2, I value my opinion too! Laugh, Boot! I don’t believe the thin steel strips Kawasaki installed during the mandated recall provide all the protection I would demand. I personally believe the fix was a band-aid, and they were concerned with tire clearance for oversized tires. I would recommend the addition of JBS’ front floor protection (www.jbsperformance.com/kawasaki/ accessories/kawasaki-t2-t4-front- floor-protection, [304] 673-2602, jamesbodyshop@hotmail.com). These guards will stop anything thrown up by the front tires from entering the floorboard area of the cabin from the front. The only downside I see is, 28-inch tires may or may not rub a bit (depends on the tire brand), and nothing larger than 28-inch tires can be used. Dismissed!
