    Radiator Shields for 2011 Rhin

I ordered a set of the JBS Rhino radiator shields in August. When they arrived, I couldn't figure out how they go on. I called and after sending some pics to James, he apologized and told me that I was sent the wrong shields. Two days later I had the correct ones and after about 5 minutes figured out how to put them on - they fit perfectly!! I've gone out in extremely muddy trails a dozen times since I put them on, and 95% of the mud that used to fly into the radiators was deflected. The small amount of stray mud that did get around the guards and into the radiator area rinsed off easily while I was washing the Rhino. The best part is no more overheating and having to pull over and wait at least a half hour for the motor to cool off!

Thought I would share my shade-tree engineering. Because of how I have some trail lights in the bumper, I could not easily reach in and operate the free-spool on the winch. So I found a SS sink strainer basket in needed diameter and some old aluminum (non-rusting of course) pieces that I fabricated a connection to the switch and drilled a hole in guards to extend a shaft with the little lever handle (SS bolt). It has to rotate about 90 degrees to operate the free spool handle. Lever goes straight forward for free spool and down for winch operation.
