Airaid synthaflow xp 1000 air filter

The Airaid SynthaFlow filter replaces the Polaris XP 1000’s non-serviceable paper air filter with a hi-flow, serviceable premium air filter. AIRAID introduced their SynthaFlow composite material in 2002 setting the standard for performance air filters. AIRAID filters use multiple layers of cotton gauze combined with their own blend of synthetic materials. The result is superior filtration and maximum flow. AIRAID filters are proven to trap even the smallest dirt particles that would get past common cotton gauze filters. AIRAID filters also have a water resistant pre-filter wrap available to catch any extra contaminants before they can enter the filter.

AIRAID filters can be washed and re-oiled with the AIRAID filter tune-up kit for the life of your vehicle. A drop in AIRAID filter for any UTV is a one-time purchase. AIRAID’s “no Hassle” Warranty will replace any filter for any problem, no questions asked!

I'm suspect of any high flow air filters. By themselves I believe they can let small particles through. I would definately run it with a prefilter.
