Yes, perhaps. You can put a Voltage Sensing Relay separator between the batteries. The relay contacts close when the internal voltmeter senses that there is a charging voltage being applied. It keeps the batteries separated otherwise. This means that the batteries would be interconnected only while the engine is running and you would be around to notice any problems that might be occurring. The batteries are not very likely to violently act up if they are not connected to anything. As I said earlier, it would be a good idea to contact the Lithium battery manufacturer to make sure that they have no qualms about running them in parallel at all. I would be a bit concerned if you were to put a wall charger on it (this will trip the relay as well) and leave it overnight or the like. It's just that Lithium battery fires are especially nasty.
Aren't lithium batteries the type the airlines are not going to ship on passenger flight anymore because of the fire hazard?

I use Odyssey PC925 for my truck.https://mechanicguides.com/best-batt...diesel-trucks/ It works perfectly allready 5 years. Dimensions 11.2 x 10.5 x 8.3 inches. Maybe it's right for you.
