EDIT: remember that the Teryx4 750 and 800 clutches are different, especially the secondary sheaves.

Interesting.
On the Teryx 800, believe me, I know that bog right out of the gate. The way the engine would bog down and then jump up into the power band was particularly noticeable when you are starting off in mud with big tires.
There are some gains to be had with clutching on the new Kawasakis. I don't know if it's wet clutch engagement, wrong weights or springs, but the 0-10mph is not real impressive for a V-Twin.
