Yep definitely has been acting strange for a couple weeks on my end as well. Database issues aren't always host issues, could be due to how things are configured on the server, or times scheduled tasks or backups are set for, as well as if there is sufficient memory for said tasks. Hell I have crashed my sites databases by simply editing one line of code wrong numerous times due to all the customization I do in all the templates lol. Set one thing wrong in the tasks in vB and every couple hours the database will go down depending on the traffic and time.
James are you still on the same host from when this site went live, or have you switched up since then? I believe we were on the same host (although possibly different type of server) and they were having major problems with dropped packets on Verizon wireless since last summer. Wasn't just my sites but any site I would visit using them as a host would lock up page loads every other time a page was clicked or you hit refresh on a page, even when I visited here. This was only when on 3G or 4G if on wi-fi everything was normal regardless if I was connecting through cable, fios, or mobile hotspot. The problem I have here now isn't only from mobile but also on my laptops hardwired into a network fios and cable.
im trying to figure that out but getting help is like pulling teeth...like when i post vids of the same bike and people saying im not proving anything

Love the picture of the captured and packaged Mho!
From Wikipedia: Mho
Mho is an alternative name of the same unit, the reciprocal of one ohm. Mho is derived from spelling ohm backwards and is written
with an upside-down capital Greek letter Omega: \mho, Unicode symbol U+2127 (℧). According to Maver the term mho was suggested by
Sir William Thomson (Lord Kelvin). The mho was officially renamed to the siemens, replacing the old meaning of the "siemens unit",
at a conference in 1881.
The term siemens, as it is a SI term, is used universally in science and often in electrical applications, while mho is still used
primarily in electronic applications. The inverted Omega, while not an official SI abbreviation, has the advantage of being less
likely to be confused with a variable than the letter S when doing algebraic calculations by hand, where the usual typographical
distinctions (such as italic for variables and Roman for unit names) are difficult to maintain. Likewise, it is difficult to
distinguish the symbol S from the lower-case s where second is meant, potentially causing confusion.
