TX, I run a 2 piece seizmik. 1/4 bottom and 3/4 top. I only use the top in the winter when riding in cold weather. The bottom 1/4 I turned backwords so I'd get air flow into the cab and it pushes the dust out. Every time I ride with some 'yuppies' they tell me my shield is backwards, so be it, it works well for me that way. A full shield keeps a lot of heat and dust in the cab area, and riding late in the day into the sun, it's almost impossible to see out of. 4 years and still in great shape.

I run a full saftey glass windshield but in 100° temp its hot so if its a full one get one that opens out to let air in on a hot day.

whatever polycarbonate windshield you get, make sure it's mr10 hard coated or it will scratch bad.

I run a full front (in the winter) and a vinyl rear windshield. The rear shield stops the dust from getting sucked in the cab.

I have a home made one (i didnt make it, the previous owner did). It does ok but i got the dust and snow sucking in the back side of it so last winter i started running a vinyl rear window. That helped a TON! I only run a windshield in the winter also...any other time if its real dusty i just use goggles.

I run the versa shield and pretty much just run the bottom or in the winter full. love it. and put the lip facing out when just running the bottom. moose makes one like that too. I don't really get any dirt coming in the back with the ryde on and this

works awesome for me witht the combo plus you can still see through it and acts kinda like a sunshade.
