Update- worked around the yard for about an hour. Starting and idling fine. No heat issues noticed even on the first pipe that is close to the plastic air duct and little clear vinyl window tube about an inch away.

can i use the #s from the bazzaz programmer on the msd? humps build is very similar to mine, thinkin i coulod use this as a base to start from. i was also told that Nikki builds some good maps too i just dont want to bother her.

I have not ridden this summer but just today got around to working on the map for my ALBA exhaust. I ran about 6 different tweaks and have it pretty close around the neighborhood. Riding Thursday so should know more. I started with an ALBA map I found but with the Viking injector and Viking cam I had to pull some out across the board. I did discover that tweaking the FUEL ACCEL ramp has a significant impact on the AFR under WOT acceleration. After I get it right I will try to post a shot of it.

OK just for clarification and credit- I started with the ALBA maps that Chris posted in this thread #4 post- THANKS Chris. However I did not do anything on the timing as James did not have anything on my original tune with stock exhaust and tip. I would like to hear some thoughts on the timing. I run 93 pump gas and have experienced no knocking on stock or new Alba exhaust in just a few miles. Any thoughts?

OK I have been tweaking the map for my Rhino. I am setting it to tickle the 13.2 AFR range at WOT and have worked on the Accel Ramp to a max of 178 and yesterday I ran a dash speedo 56 mph ( just me and my gear) and if math adjusted for bigger tire size that is 60 mph . I will check with my GPS next time out, and if I remember from last spring it should be about 58 mph. Pretty steady pull to about 54 and then took a little longer, and on asphalt, flat. I ran 54 with my buddy (210#) and that was at 7260 rpm just fyi. The thought of a cam is sure tempting. But not so sure it would pull the front wheels, my bottom end is tremendous, and I might try a shim lol.

I bought and 08 with a blown engine (bad rod bearing) and completely rebuilt it. It came with a black rhino 4243 which as I understand has the 2D maps. I would like to reuse this programmer to avoid paying $500+ more on a 16 year old machine if I can but it appears since the old rhino was stock, the previous owner just used it to remove the speed limiter and never had any maps put on it. I’ve looked through this thread as it’s about the closest thing I could find my trying to translate 3D to 2d maps is difficult and I don’t want to damage anything. I wondered if anyone by chance had any old 2D maps to get me started and I can test and tweak from there. My engine is a 787 stroker with dual exhaust, stage 2 cam, and a JBS sheave. I’ve
