The OEM Polaris Ranger 900 battery is nice in that it has standard top posts, it has decent size, and for a UTV battery it has decent capacity. Unfortunately, the quality of the OEM battery is poor. It's a standard flooded cell battery.
I replaced the OEM battery with an Odyssey PC1200 AGM battery. I chose the model with the left hand positive terminal and the metal jacket. The Odyssey is a deep cycle battery, a more appropriate design for my usage.
The OEM battery is about 0.5" taller but otherwise practically the same size for an easy fit.

nice upgrade Chris, my stock rhino battery finally craped out and I replaced it with the pc 925 what a difference , your machine looks great

Thanks, I appreciate the compliments.The Odyssey is a nice upgrade for me. I do not run dual batteries, so I wanted my vehicle battery to be high quality and able to support my electrical needs.
