    Floor Pan breakthrough

While riding in a open area 2 weekends ago, I drove over a small part of a log. It rotated and sent a stub of a branch right through the driver side floor. The yamaha name for the part is "Footrest 1" 5UG-F7411-12-00
It takes a total of 9 rivets to install the side and yamaha charges about $1.50 per rivet. I found a source of large flange rivets that match the yamaha specs and appear to be a bit stronger than the OEM ones for 15 cents a piece. You'll have to order a 100 of them, but now I've plenty of spares.

They also sell em on eBay for slightly more but the eBay listing provides the dimensions and both sites have free shipping.

New rivet head is slightly more rounded.

oem rivet head is thinner and 2 of them deformed enough to release the floor when the impact happened.

Now get a set of wheel wheel protectors to prevent it next time.

Ouch yeah I've seen a couple different times like that. I put those before Wet clutch slugs and everything. I had mine save me once from a steel t post in the grass and that more than paid for them. I think I paid 120 for mine.

I'm late to the rhino game. I'm noticing that a lot of this stuff isn't sold anymore. Never seen any wheel well protectors... might make some of my own after seeing those pictures. Also how much was the floor pan? Mine has a few cracks in it but I'll probably just run bolts through mine.
