son bought a can-am
my son bought a can-am cammander 800 yesterday, don't know a lot about these machines but I can tell you the thing will fly, I have a wolverine and my friend has a 900 ranger and they wont touch it as far as speed, drove 350 miles to get it, it looks white in picture but really a beautiful silver color, tell me if they are good machines?

Couple things to extend can am belt life: if you're gonna be running say less than 25, use low. If you're running high, from stops get on the accelerator to get the rpm up fast. The belts not fully engaged until about 2000 or so rpm. When you change the belt go with an oem maverick belt.
Oh, and get one of those plastic rivet pullers. It will cut down on the cursing.

Agreed. Also look at one of the Dalton kits to lower the clutch engagement.

I will if I ever mess up the maverick belt. In addition to the other stuff I mentioned, I've been real careful to let it cool down before turning the machine off. 400 miles with no issues so far.
