If that were true then my buddies wheelers that I raced with the other weekend are incorrect as well. And they both have stock tires. Plus I was able to hit the 65-68 mark with these same tires before the Install. So something has to be going on here. I don't know what the rpms are for sure but they are way up there, don't think I've hit the Rev limiter, but it's close.

So I watched a video of a guy with 28 inch tires, easily do wheelies and claimed a very noticeable difference. I don't feel much if any difference in my jbs clutch kit and lost about 10 to 15 miles per hour. The kit came with a milled sheave, slugs, weights, don't know what gram they are, 16 or 18 grams I think, and a dark gold spring. The guy in the video mixed weights up to get a total of around 120 grams, about a 1mm shimming, and a purple spring. So I'm pretty sure I'm running quite a bit heavier weights and a different spring than him wondering if maybe I should try lighter weights and the purple spring, what you guys think?

After watch your video I would say you have way to much grease in the sheave. Your secondary may as well!

^^^X2^^^ Never have taken any of my cam plates off and have had all the weight stuck to it. I did a quick search and top-end, hitting rev limiter on the stock 700 Griz looks to be around 64-65 mph, even when running 104 km/h. With big heavy 28" tires and a stock engine I would bet your top-end would be reduced considerably.

My big tires are not my top speed problem, I was able to hit as fast as 70 and 71 with these tires before I did any mods at all after this clutch kit was when I experienced a loss of roughly ten or so miles per hour. It is possible I still have too much grease in that clutch with the weights but based on several other videos I looked at it seems about right but again that could be my problem. I'm hearing a lot about lighter weights and the purple spring. How would that combination affect me?

I greased the cr4p outta mine and I have no problem.

I blame Rob and James for making me need new tires & safety harnesses.
