    doesn't look bad
I tried that on my '07 700 Grizz and it just used more gas

I preferred the oiled eom foam filter, too

Hold it by the plug wire and see how the spark looks while your crank the engine.

What's wrong with that plug is it does not have any anti-seize on the threads and it looks like the washer is a little over crushed. lol. If any have never torqued a plug you might be surprised at how little it takes and you may get another chance on a washer. Just try and find a new washer for your plugs haha like is recommended.

The plug looks a bit on the rich side to me. The tip is ideally a chocolate brown and the ring exposed to the combustion chamber should be a bit darker chocolate brown. The problem with using the plug color to gauge your jetting is that the color changes when you pass through each range of operation (idle, mid range, WFO). You have to run it in that range for a decent amount of time and then chop the engine off and coast to a stop in neutral, in order to preserve the "color" when operating in the range to be evaluated, for a truly valid diagnosis. An A/F meter is a more accurate and much easier method to use.

An olden thread that goes into it in a lot more depth and contains pictures:

Steve, this is exactly what I told him. He had been getting all kinds of mixed comments on Facebook so I told him to post it up on here. Thanks everyone for your help!
