    ive installed the shim about a week ago but theres been quite a bit of snow so i havent been able to test it, but i reached 96 and then i was coming to a turn, ill have to test it sometime and when i do ill post it here, btw i have a kodiak 700 2016

    my Grizzly 700 ran about 60-62 mph top speed, close to what you are doing

    You probably have had the answer to your question in front of you the whole time. You should of taken note of your top speed in low. You wont have no problem hitting top speed in low. So if your top speed increased in low range then you have your answer. The sheave did in fact give you more top end but your motor just doesnt have what it takes to reach your rev limiter in high.
