I’ll be looking forward to hearing how this machine holds up.

I don't mind the styling so much. I'm not overly impressed with the rapid response clutch. This model will have to sell for a lot less than $20K to be successful.

I’m really liking this new machine. The power is there and the suspension travel is industry leading.

It's heavy for some reason, 1,816 lbs dry weight.

It’s not the same machine they talked about a year ago. Textron went over it with a fine comb to make sure it was right. I watched the release last nite some of the things they showed and talked about with the suspension is not done on any bike. They took nothing from the old wildcat platform.

The heavy duty components evidently account for the weight. It has some nice features. Cvt blowers, good gauge package, sturdy cage. The engine is governed to 9,200 rpm, 75 mph. You can use Polaris wheels on it.

That rear suspension is like the VW bug. The swing arm has to be really strong (probably heavy) for it to hold up but it works good. The axle needs a long slider because it telescopes in and out so far so that might be a problem with reliability.
But as far as capability if looks good to me. Designed more to hold up under stress more than curvy and swoopy to look like a sports car.

the swing arms are identical on both sides, that's good. no radius rods is a plus. I like the rear boot protection. not sure how the forward steering rack will hold up if it takes a hit

No radius rods makes the front print stay the same when traveling up and down.
