    Water Temp Guage

    Anyone know what size the radiator hoses are? Im looking at some kits and want to make sure i get the right size sensor fitting.

    If you cannot find metric sized hose or fittings as above, the near exact same size is 7/8 inch on the I.D. of the hose.

    Ended up going with the Trail Tech kit.




    Also comes with the 2 clamps and a power cord for the digital display.

    Hillbilly or Timmi, did you get these installed? Work Ok? I was thinking about getting one also.
    2016 Yamaha Wolverine R-Spec SE. 12" double row LED's from Flimmy, Warn Vantage 3000, SSV works audio system.......I need to add more parts!!!!!

    That’s the set up I put on my Viking and I like it. It is not backlight that is the only thing I didn’t like. I made a little bracket over my gauge with some smell accent LED’s hide underneath that come on with lights so I can see it at night.

    I am on the bubble about choosing between an electrical and mechanical water temp gauge. Most electric gauges have at most a 90 deg sweep but easy to find a mechanical with 270 deg sweep which helps discern at a quicker glance what temp is. I wonder what the responsiveness is in time delay of how long a 72" capillary tube takes to get the reading to gauge face? Any input or opinions?
