    Wolverine intake issues

Went to check my air filter this evening and found a screw inside there bouncing around after looking for where went it goes on the screen on the air filter cage and it has two of them and I have one missing right now so I don't know if it got sucked into the motor or where it's at but going to have to do some more checking tomorrow everybody should take the screws out and Loctite them asap

IIRC if this is the same screws on my 2016, they are on the outside of the filter and hold the end cover on. Mine were loose and coming out but on the outside of the filter and I did not see any way they would get in the airway to the intake if they came out. I thought more about the unfiltered air leakage and I replaced my screws with oversized ones with a sealing washer that is used on metal roofing. I think a fairly rinky-dink OEM arrangement from Yamaha. $.02
Could they have bounced down into the intake tube from the front?
