I was thinking the same thing.

Here's a few pics of the rivet mod, i took the 2 screws out and drilled new 1/8" holes next to the screw holes, i also drilled beside those little round bumps, the other spots were flat and i just picked a spot to drill. The rivets i used were 1/8x .188-.250 aluminum, they're labeled large head but they look more like a medium head.
