What is it doing at 22? Is it like the limiter is kicking in? Is your reverse light coming on? Sometimes the reverse limiter wire gets messed up. This is a green/white wire near shifter. The machine will think it’s in reverse and be limited to the low 20s.

Also, look in your battery box at your cdi. A few different brands of aftermarket cdis have a wire with a little toggle switch. If it has that the switch is a kid or “brother-in-law” switch you flip to limit the power when a kid or brother in law or someone else you don’t trust drives. If it has one of those, flip the switch.

No rev limiter is not kicking in it’s just gaining speed much slower past 22 mph or so. I also tried to get the tires to spin out from a dead stop in low in the grass and it won’t do it. No matter Im going on a ride tomorrow. My new belt from jbs should be in tomorrow. I’ll put it in Saturday and see what happens.
