My problem with that is my nearest Yamaha dealer is a hour away. And they’ll won’t me to bring my wolvy in for them to change pipe and I can do it myself in 15 mins. Plus this is the 2nd time it has broke. I think a replacement will do the same thing. Hell I don’t even ride that hard just logging roads. And a few trails.

I was wondering if this failure has anything to do with running through water while pipe is hot? Any part of your riding? Other than that motor mounts excessively loose?

Does anyone know if the replacement pipe is the same as the original? If so, how many times will they replace it till they say 'enough'?Is it a heavier gauge or does it have a thicker collar on it at the flange? Does Yamaha do anything other than replace the pipe, like motor mounts?
