    Well, I can take a guess. I would bet if it's not perfectly centered and balanced, it will cause something to go boom. Just guessing.

    If it's not a Yamaha belt it ain't worth a shit even if it was 6-1...haven't they ever seen how long those belts last

    I am no ATV/UTV mechanic by no means but, "belt rubbin the cover just a bit" tells me this guy ain't either.

    Didn't Tinker advocate leaving the cover off altogether? "Lets the dust, gravel, water, and the like, fly out the CVT workings", or something like that.
