    07 rhino question

okay so today has been one of the nices days we have had in awhile so got the rhino an did a few things to it.
bit after.riding it i couldnt figur out why my speedo still didnt work?
so im riding around and i just kinda stomped on the throttle an it started working and at one point it said i was running 65mph
but i my gps on my phone said i was running.bout 10-15mph slower ish
so anyone know what might cause that
    cuase it work great befor.
and the after i after i shut it off it ran for a few seconds after i shut the igniton off.
and my head pipes seem ti glow red alot anyone else have this problem

Aftermarket header pipes usually glow a little but only close to the the head, when they glow way past the first few inches it usually indicates a lean condition I think, may be wrong on that though. As far as the speedo not working and then suddenly reading much faster, could it be that it lost power(not working) from a bad connection or bad ground, then made contact and empowered causing the speedo to be reading kilometers instead of miles? I've had it happen to mine and I couldn't figure out how I got that fast with no mods!!

I agree with the previous post. 40 kph is 65mph. Also, it might be a bit lean. Video on changing kilometers to miles: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zA6YzDxhm5Q

I seem to remember some folks welding a bung into the exhaust and adding a o2 sensor and gauge.

If your jets have a little varnish collection after storage, maybe it could make them smaller and that would create a lean condition and consequently more heat equal hotter exhaust. Run some carb cleaner thru it and maybe some fresh gas.
