    Ouch! That piston looks rough! Are those 4 bolts around the middle drive gear the ones that get loose and destroy the support and case?

    Yes..the ones that hold the alum piece to the case

    james, I've thought on the cam we talked about, I still want to do it but I think I'm going to put your sheave kit in first and see what that does for me. If I can, I may save messing with the engine until I need to do at least the top end, then do it while I have it apart. Then again, after the sheave I may have a craving for more goodies that can't wait! Lol. what did the cylinder wall look like on the motor from California?

    Well there's an engine thats gonna get some JBS lovin.
    09 734 sport, ported, jbs sheave, 16 gram, purple spring, slugged, cam, full muzzy, hi-flow injector, msd 3d, wicked built rack, cognito spindles, hid / rigid industries led lighting, 26" bear claw radials, 2 inch spacers all round, homemade hood rack, doors, bed rails. Always doing more.
