    Viking VI Floor Removal

I am trying to find how to get the center section of the Viking VI floor out so I can remove the front portion of the air intake to clean dead mice out. I have all of the bolts removed, and it moves, but doesn't seem to be enough room to pull the floor out, as I have to kind of slide it at an angle (similar to opening a hood). Everything seems to push on the outer sections of floor where the go in front of the seats.

It is kind of looking like I need to pull at least one section of the outer floor (probably the passenger side) to gain enough room to pull this. Or would I have to pull the dash also?

Looking for help as I am starting to run out of time to clean the dead mice out and have this thing ready for a big trip.

    Thanks for any help.

I am thinking that there may be some differences between the V6 and V3. Hopefully Ryan will chim in and let me know. I have been looking through the service manual (for the V3), and it seems to show that the dash and everything has to be removed. I am thinking that if I were to pull the passenger side floor out, that would allow me to shift the center section over and remove. Hoping that it doesn't rain all night, so I can give it a try. Already have 3 seats torn out, what would a couple more take...LOL.

I’ve never had a prob getting it out it’s putting it back in that is a pain in the ass. Make sure you have all the clips out there are a couple by the rubber around the gas pedal. Removing the center seat frame helps some but other than that I just yank the shit out of it

Great...sounds like it will be a real treat. I messed around with it for a while yesterday, and there just doesn't seem to be enough clearance with the side floors still in...and the manual isn't a help. I really don't plan to pull the dash... Guess I am gonna have to give it a good pull after a bit then... Thanks Ryan.

On the V6, there are 2 of those little plastic rivet/screw things that you have to push up on the dash to see... they actually go into the frame. Once I found those, it was sort of easy to get out...
