So I have ordered the JBS sheeve kit and while waiting for the kit I have started to get ahead and tear down the Sheeve andwet clutch so I can get it all cleaned and ready to go. After reading some information here on the forum I realized that it may not be worth slugging the old clutch as it has right about 3400 miles on it. So attached is a picture of it on here which I tried to get measurements from and i did it right only about .085 mm remaining. So i am fairly sure I do not want to install the old clutch pack back in. So there is another cost involved. As when as a new clutch nut because the old nut was really jammed in and was fun removing with 3 different impact guns. But hey it is old and all good. Oh yea the cam plate is showing signs of wear as well so I have talked with James briefly about that as well and need to replace that too. So I guess I have to place another order and hopefully have it come in all at once. Just have to wait let James look at this. and make sure all is good first.

Welcome to the forum and your first post! Absolutely slug the wet clutch. It's one of the best mods you can do as far as engaging the clutch quicker and keeping the belt engaged.

Yeah, I'd take James advise. The clutch pack looks decent, but while you're in there do it once and be done.

One and done here too even if it takes an extra week.
I hate having to do something twice to get it right once!

That wet clutch still has some life, more if slugged. But, I certainly understand not wanting to go back in there again.

So how long have the wait times been to get the orders from JBS?

Yes, but still waiting. I am sure it is just busy for him, just trying to plan but no feedback. My fault as I started pulling parts off which I am glad I did to uncover other issues. But unable to ride now.

I wondered what happened that the camera went off. We got a few inches of snow here but no storm.
