    Help

So I bought the hot rod extreme set up. Came with yellow/gold spring, OD weights and slug kit for clutch. Setup is as follow 2014 Grizzly 700 with 28 inch Zillas, EHS complete airbox/K&N setup and lid Ehs fuel programmer and 2R tip.
Prior to the install of the sheave etc. I could wheelie easily, it would run up to 70mph on a flat road. After the install it wouldn't pull the front wheels off the ground, and would top out at 53. Very disappointed to say the least. So I pulled it apart and went back to stock spring. Threw the weights on scale and they were 16 ounce, so that probably explains some of it on the top end. So with the stock spring back in it will pull the wheels up pretty good but still can't get above 53. So what do I need short of putting my stock parts back on to get where I was instead of backwards with what I thought was a performance mod improvement?

No it was what was shipped with the extreme hot rod kit based on the info I entered on the JBS website.

So losing 15mph on the top end is to be expected with the JBS kit is what you are saying?

I didn't have the sheave just the weights and spring, mine ran about 65 with 27' tires
sounds like the lighter weights and heavier spring have you geared down lower

Already put stock spring back in as mentioned, still a pig at top end just trying to get answer if it is the weights, no need to waste more money than I already have at this point.

Maybe you have a flopped weight. We're you sure not to let the primary slide together once you put it all back together?
