from description of air filter I would wonder about compression and would want to establish that factor to begin. New plug is cheap and would do. vids will not play for me, but from what I see in pics there is too much grease. All things being equal from my experience the 30's are killing you on top end with stock motor.

I cleaned and re-greased the primary. Definitely has more power now, gunning it in low from a stop you feel the front lifting (tires still on the ground). Was not able to test the top speed, should be riding it this weekend though so I'll let y'all know.

I appreciate you guys helping me figure this out. I think this was my main problem, we'll see what it does this weekend and see if you guys think I should do anything else.

Here are the results from this weekend, ~450lbs of passengers, bed has maybe 2 hundred pounds of gear/stuff in it.

In high, 30'' tires, MSD at 50mph/8000rpm flat dirt road, wide open dash read 44mph. no limiters hit

In low, same as above it gets to 38mph on dash. no limiters hit

actual speed should be 2-3 mph more going from my gps.

It feels like it has as much power as stock, maybe a little more. Hard for me to quantify the low end performance. I'm happy with it now. Does that seem about right? or should I still be looking for something?

    Thanks guys.

27's should give you more low end and more speed....if it were to matter...probably extend life of belt and clutch as well

Hey Kevin, my question is what kinda riding do you do and how do you want your Rhino to perform in that riding style. If you're just looking for top-end or torque at the low-end. I can't remember the last speed at top end I did though I remember where I did it and it was amazing. Top-end is verily used in my riding style unless I'm tying to make a statement against another bike that is bigger and faster than me to start with. Then I just try to out drive them! Rhino's aren't fast to begin with and at stock your at the top-end of the speed chain at 45+ mph. with the rev-limiter you'll gain some speed but it'll take you a bit to get there. Clutch work to me is all about putting torque to the rubber and the fuel controller is to give you the fuel to do it with. If you're looking for more speed, have Hot Rod build you one of his 777 CCs. Stock is great and you can lite mod them to hang with the Big Dogs in tech riding but hard to keep their tail lights I site when flat ass hauling. Happy Trails!

That's a nice looking rhino. Sounds close pretty close now that you got your grease worked around for stock with 30's and a gold spring. The gold is sweet as well.
