I知 looking for some guidance on an issue I知 having with the Viking 6. I started it up to go ride and I noticed the fan kicked on About 1 minute after I started it. I was able to ride for about 3 miles before the overheating light came on. Once the light came on I shut if off and waited a little to see if it would cool down. While I was waiting I checked the overflow tank, it shows the level way above the full line. I turned it back on and made my way back to camp. Once I arrived at my camp the Viking stalled out on its own. (Redlight still on) I went to check the radiator for mud and it was clean as a whistle and cold to the touch. It felt like no fluid had ran through it all. Sounded like it may be a bad thermostat or air in the system. I pulled the thermostat and bled out the system to remove all air. When I tried to bleed out the air in the cylinder no fluid came out at all. The problem was not fixed. I知 thinking maybe a bad water pump? I still have warranty on it. Is that something that would be covered? What could cause the water pump to go on a machine that isn稚 even a year old?
Thanks, Andrew
