    tight dip stick?

I thought I posted this yesterday but can't seem to find my post now, but the dipstick on my 660 rhino removes and reinstalls easy when the motor is cold but once I warm it up it gets so tight that I need pliers to twist it out. What is causing this it the dipstick swelling for some reason?

    thanks guys I am stumped

Try turning it 180 degrees and see if that helps

Edit: I was thinking how my Wolv dipstick is indexed and goes in a certain way and if the heat makes it warp a certain way maybe turing it around wiuld tell you if it was the dipstick bent or something. But now noticed this is Rhino and I can't remember if the dipstick is free turning in the tube...seems like it is.??

If I try to remove it after a short ride it is hard to remove, if I leave it there and comeback after it cools down it is a simple two finger removal. I am starting to think this is a losing battle this machine is just one thing after another.

That's really tight when warm to have to use pliers. Is the rubber dry? If so try wetting it down with some motor oil a couple times. It should get a little tighter when it's warm though.

    unheard of

So this problem seems to be unheard of I have searched the i-net over and over and no one seems to have this issue. ugh that can't be good right?

So I have my rhino running better still work to do but this dipstick thing baffles me. I can go out check the oil fire it up all is good go for a very short ride come back and the dipstick wont move, leave it till the motor cools down and everything it fine? I did notice my coolant was on the low line so i ADDED some to it but maybe the motor is getting too hot I don't get any temp light or anything but not even sure if that works.

Is your crankcase vent plugged or kinked?

Perfectly normal. The aluminium expands when heated , tightening around the plastic!
