    New wet clutch install

    Hi guys,
About to replace my wet clutch. When you are all talking about slug kits, is to replace worn ones in an old clutch? Or do you recommend slugging a brand new wet clutch? What exactly does it do/improve? Thanks in advance.

So after poking around the forums a little, it seems that I should slug a new wet clutch, save myself some time and heartache later on.

I think I saw that video...use big clamps to compress, remove the clips, remove the top pieces, remove slugs and install everything in reverse...correct?

you don't need much pressure, just enough to compress the spring ring to get the clips off

No slugs in it unless someone did it before you.

If wet clutch cover will not come off easy, put sheave on with nut and lightly use it as a slide hammer.
