I did the same thing when I first drove my X2

JBS sheave installed. I didn't get to do any trail riding as my kids had colds and its dusty in my part of the country. I did some gravel riding on my own. Hit 50 mph so I gained 1 mph, In high from 25 it pulls great after it stops spinning the tires. It feels just like my old Wildcat Sport with a secondary spring. In low I pulled my trailer around. Probably close to 2000 lbs with some stuff on it. It didn't even feel like it was there. I pulls like a diesel truck now. I also installed JBS springs. The springs are great. You get lift and a much smoother ride. I do have my front shocks mounted upside down. If I had to choose, I would get the springs first. I can tell with the sheave the X4 will like to be driven very aggressive on the trail and that is what I want but the springs are truly awesome. I have a secondary spring on order and I can't wait to see what I get out of it with that. I also read where Weller racing has cracked the computer. Now I hope Alba does and offers a package deal with exhaust.

No but the best I ever got was 49 going downhill. I hit 50 going up hill on pavement before it hit the limiter. This was on factory wheels and tires. I have a set of 27 inch tires but haven't put them on yet.

49 was stock. 50 was with the sheave and it was pulling good until it hit the limiter. It would hold steady there. I'm pretty sure there is a lot more once I get rid of the limiters.

    Were you on stock tires?

I'll have to do a downhill test but it sounds like we are in the same ball park since you started off being a little faster stock.

Downhill is 51 mph. Both uphill and downhill runs were with a windshield.
