So...if I was listening correctly, James is saying to flip the shocks to improve the ride... We will need to hear back if this is something that we want to do on both ends and/or if there is an actual improvement.

I know from my conversations with James that he says the shocks on these buggies work pretty good, so if they are able to be improved, that will be even better.

I just have to wonder if there is going to be any aftermarket support of new rebuildable shocks for the X2/X4 before long...

When I used to have my old Toyota, I never looked into it, but always wondered why the Bilsteins I bought for it were labeled and meant to be installed that way. Maybe this is why.

Were you able to put some miles on with them flipped yet?

I took my factory springs off last night and at first my front shocks seemed fine. I turned them upside down and they felt the same as right side up. I then put them back how they were mounted from the factory and felt what James is talking about. I bet I lost a 1/2 of damping. I'm curious if after sitting all day if they will feel right again. Otherwise I will be mounting mine upside down too.

Well mine still have play in them after giving them more than ample time to return to normal. I will be mounting mine upside down when I get my springs in.

Any updates on flipping these things? I'm hoping to get started with my install tomorrow after work. Thanks!
