How does he know unless he has a dyno? I don't know the guy or if you were pulling our leg.

Weller said it made 7 more I think and that's bull too... It's a great selling point though...especially when they lie and say their reflashing exhaust does more than my clutch and my clutch is not needed is what they told the guy that I tested his bike because he didn't feel like the exhaust and reflashed helped any so I rode him in my stock bike and showed him that it was more powerful than what he had been sold and lied to about

agreed, I love the Weller reflash, but adding power is not that simple. changing fuel mapping and exhaust helps the power available from the engine but does not make huge gains

clutching is a different issue. no matter how much power is there, the drive line takes some of it.

making that more efficient is always important. that's why the JBS clutch goes in my machine as soon as I buy it.

I've read similar reviews and that's why I'm hesitant to get the flash as it seems the main benefit is to break the speed limiter but I don't necessarily need that right now.

I know but for my purposes I think I'll hold on to my money a little longer. I'm sure its in my future but not right now. Besides, I'd rather get my sheave updated to extreme 2 standards first.

Another reason to hold off on doing the reflash is that they are still working through some stuff and fixing little things to make it even better than it already is. I do feel that the removal of the speed limiter and the lowering of the fan engagement temp are the 2 biggest things that are accomplished by the flash. Not saying that the improvements are not worth it, but everything has to work together. I had the flash as soon as they came out with it, but I already had the JBS Sheave.

Alba Racing has their flash on sale right now for $149. I purchased it.

I have it, also. It removes the engage/disengage of the factory throttle at slow speed. Excellent!
