Belt/ clutch burn smell after JBS install

    Merry Christmas Everyone,
hello all, new to the site and to yamaha's. I've installed the clutch and slug kit, I am now getting a clutch and or belt burning smell after doing so, especially after hard acceleration. Any ideas on where I should start looking?

    Too much grease?

    The o-ring didn’t look pinched.

maybe the washer wasn't up on the spines when the nut was tightened and gave it a little slop?

Since you did not say, can we make assumption it is running good? is it making any chirping noises? Did you service the secondary? Is secondary shifting smoothly? Is there any grease on sheave faces (primary or secondary) from fingers?
